Signature Breaks

Small groups. Unusual places. Thoughtfully made.

Three things we will not compromise on, on a group journey or a private one.

Curation

Fewer places, chosen well. We recommend what we would book for ourselves, and leave out the rest.

Pace

Enough time in each place to actually experience it, with free mornings where they matter.

Care

One team from the first conversation to the flight home, a message away throughout.

How we work

From first conversation to the flight home.

  1. Step one

    A conversation

We begin by listening — who is travelling, what you enjoy, and the pace that suits you.

  2. Step two

    A proposal

A considered itinerary, with the reasons behind each choice and a clear price.

  3. Step three

    Every detail arranged

Bookings, transfers, guides, dietary needs and documents, confirmed and shared in one travel pack.

  4. On the journey

    With you throughout

Our team is a message away for the whole trip. On small-group departures, a host travels with you.

About us

Deliberately small.

Signature Breaks has planned journeys for more than fifteen years. The people who design your journey are the people who look after you while you are away.

We don't try to cover every destination or sell every hotel. We recommend places we know, tell you when something isn't worth the time or money, and build each journey around how you actually like to travel.

Honest advice

If a season, route or hotel is wrong for you, we will say so.

Clear pricing

What is included, and what is not, is written down before you book.

One point of contact

The same planner from first call to homecoming.

Your preferences, remembered

Dietary needs, room preferences and the small things carry into every trip.

The Signature Breaks team

Questions

Good to know.

How big are the groups?

Small. Most of our journeys are limited to ten or twelve guests; the largest, north of the Arctic Circle, takes twenty. Every departure has a Signature Breaks host travelling with the group.

Can you arrange one of these journeys privately?

Yes. Any journey can be arranged for your own family or friends on dates that suit you, and we also plan entirely tailor-made holidays.

Do you arrange flights and visas?

We can. Flights, visas and travel insurance can be arranged alongside the journey, with clear documents for every day of the trip.

Can you cater for vegetarian and other dietary needs?

Yes. Dietary needs are written into every supplier brief before you travel, including vegetarian, Jain and other requirements.

How far ahead should we plan?

For small-group departures, as early as you can — places are limited. For tailor-made holidays, three to six months ahead gives the best choice of hotels, and longer for peak seasons such as February in Lapland or November in Kyoto.
